The message that we clearly see as clear as crystal in this story is YOU MUST CONTROL YOUR FEELINGS!!! Why? The reason is clearly showed in this story. The Two musician conveyed a characteristic of the one who have a competing spirit among them, to attract the listener and have them to donate coin as appreciation sign but the greed in their heart grow with exceed rate making them compete and end up with tips jar without coin. During the credit in this story, the two musician become allies to get the coin in the top of fountain that cute face girl throw with no guilty feeling. On the other hand, the cute girl in early minutes in this story carry good attitude which is generous, she got a feeling to donate the coin to the musician, but become confuse and scare because of the two musician seems like trying to forcing her to get the coin. The turning point starts when the coin that own by the cute girl fall into the drain, the girls feel so angry, asked for compensate from the two musician but of course the both musician have no money. A s last resort she asked for a small violin fro the musician that played violin. After several times tune up the violin, she played like professional and end up with a bag full with gold coin, and with cute face that hold the angry, smile and throw two gold coin into the fountain with smile, evil smile. From the nice innocent cute girl turns up to be heartless cute girl because of a coin. This situation also can be the irony of this story, ONE MAN BAND!!!

A Difficult Decision I Have To Make

The day i got my SPM result is one of my greatest day in my life, that is because i am able to got 7A in the examnination. My family were all happy for me. I am so glad and thankful to god during that time. After i got home, my mother immediately asked me to photostat my certificate vitae and SPM result for applying further syudies. So i did research about some university that suit me. My ambition from my childhood is to be a pilot, so i did some research about it.

My first application is to KISSTA, a pilot academy in Melacca.from the terms and condition, i qualify to continue my study there. But after discussing with my family, it seems that being a pilot is very risky and the cost for getting the license itself is tremendously expensive and it does not assure a guarantee of job. So, i forget about to be a pilot and moved to my second ambition which is to be an engineer same as my father.

My father does not supported me very much in being an engineer that is because he said that the job is very tiring and its study is very dificult which is the standard is much higher than usual course, but i refuse and want to chase my ambition. My father agreed with me and help me in finding the best university in engineering.

After two days of discussion and searching, i had decided to applied for University Technology of Petronas. I thought i will have a great oppoturnity in studying in the university because my father work in Petronas company and he has some friends that can help me to get in. But i refuse my father to help because i want to get in the university by my own effort.

After sending the form, i was called for an interview three weeks after that, i was so nervous during the interview as i am not very familiar with using English language in speaking. My Best Friend,

My best friend,Asyraf is the best friend i would ever had, he is very open-minded person and very kind to me.Before go to sleep, we always share our problems and talk about our day. He always take care of me and fun to hang out with. He who like a brother to me here in UTP when my family is far away in melacca.

Asyraf is a 166 centimeter tall with a weight of 75 kg and his hair is very stylish. He always has a cold every morning and sneeze all the time but in the evening he will be allright. He said it is because of the cold weather that he can't withsatnd.

Asyraf is a happy go lucky person. He has brilliant jokes to share and it makes me laugh all the time. His laugh is very funny and i am very glad to hear it every time.i am so lucky to had him as my roommate.

He is also a caring person.Whenever i had problems to deal with, he will always be there for me.he often wake me every morning to go to class cause i am not very good in waking up early in the morning. If i did not finish my assignment, he will let me borrow his and allow me to copy it. I

know it is an illegal things to do but i only do it in desperate time.

Asyraf also a very good servant of good. He prays five times a day and fast everyday in Ramadhan.Well, you see Asyraf is my best friend and i am so thankful to have a friend like him. I hope this friendship will last forever and ever.

sorry, i posted this a bit late. i forgot to publish that day.

Based on the short story, that we have watched, one of the element that we can obtained which is revenged.

For the information, revenge means that harm done to another person in return for harm which we has done ( to ourselves or to someone else).

The prove, based on the element in that scene, the small girl was very angry because her coin was fell in to the drain.

Then, the small girl want her coin back from the drummer and the violinist but, the two of them can not do so.

Thus, the evidence that shown prove that the element of revenged most included in the short drama.

What remained in excess, he used to give in charity. He used to give away in charity to him who begged of him of anything, even out of his stored up provision.

He did not take any revenge for personal wrongs but he used take it for preservation of the honor of Allah.

He used to speak the truth even though it was sometimes a cause of trouble to himself and his companions.

He was the most modest, without pride, and his tongue was most eloquent without prolongation of speech. His constitution was the most beatiful. No worldly duties could keep him busy.

He used to go even to a distant place to see the sick, loved scents and hated a stench or bad smell, sat with the poor and the destitute, ate with them, honored those possessing honor, advised them to do good and show kindness to relatives. He did not treat harshly to anybody and accepted excuses offered to him.

He accepted sports and pastimes as lawful, played with his wives and held races with them.... He did not hate the poor for their poverty nor fear the kings for their mighty power. He used to call the people, high or low towards Allah. Allah adorned him with all the qualities and good administration

At the time when the Quran was being revealed to him, he used to smile most. When something happened, he entrusted it to Allah, kept himself free from his own strength and ability and said in invocation: 'O Allah, show me truth in a true manner or give me grace to give it up. You guide to the straight path whomsoever You will.'

Allah revealed the Quran to him and through it He taught him good manners."

Our poster is about a scene that we named, The Death from a short story written by Charlie Fish, Death By Scrabble. We are the third group that present the poster for the first day. Alhamdulillah, everything went well. Thank you for lending us your ears and also thanks for you attention.

One Man Band

One of the theme in the story 'One Man Band' by Pixar is greedy. This can be proven by both musicians in the story. The musicians compete each other to earn a coin from the little girl. Just because of the coin, the musicians play their instruments full-heartedly to win the girl's heart, hoping they can get the coin. But, at the end, the girl throws the coin to a fountain ner them. Still, they try very hard to get the coin from the fountain. This can shows the greediness of the musicians and proves the theme of the 'One Man Band' story is greedy.

It's the time we have face the challenges that are waiting for us .It seems like very hard to go through the week ,but  we have to face it and take the challenges.Let imagine the fun after all the tests have been finished , we will have more time for our own .

What a hot DAY !

Hey guys, here are some simple and straightforward ideas about how to cool down and stay safeon a hot day. Many of these suggestions are very practical and can be used without access to electricity, particularly useful if there happens to be a blackout, you're in danger.

Drink lots of water to regain the water lost due to sweating.

Stay in the shade. Read a good book, sit still or take a nap.When

you move around you will get hotter and hotter

Open the windows to let in a breeze. Use screens to keep out insects if they are a problem.

Go swimming. If you can, select a shady body of water.

Have a cold shower or bath. Even a small amount of water sprayed or splashed on you can help. Or try a face washer dipped in cold water and held against your face and forehead for instant cooling relief. Wet towels if you need to cool all of your body and wrap your legs, torso and arms with them.

Wet your hair with cold water every half an hour.

Use fans. Fans keep the air circulating and produce a small cooling effect. Place a wet face cloth on the fan to produce a mini air-conditioning effect. Be careful to sit the wet face washer only on the outer cage part of the fan so that it cannot be caught by the fan blades and do not leave the room without taking it off.

Try and get used to the heat. Try to do this without relyi

ng on fans too much. That way, you can be more independent of relying on any electrical equipment, something that become very important should there be a summer blackout.

Apply lots of sunscreen throughout the day. The protective function of such lotion only lasts for a few hours and less when you are in water. Reapply frequently for best coverage. Do not rely on it alone, however. Always combine with wearing a hat, long-sleeved clothing and keeping out of the sun during the hottest part of the day.

Consider running through sprinklers.

Wear a hat and don't expose too much skin. Long-sleeved shirts made of cotton, hemp and other natural fabrics will help deflect the sun's rays and protect your skin. A broad-brimmed hat is essential to protect your face and to create some shade over your head.

Keep inside or in the shade when the sun is at its height. Don't go outside if you can help it between 11 o' clock and 3 o' clock, as these are the hours during which the sun is at its strongest.

Use a washcloth. Get a washcloth and soak it in cold water . Barely ring it out, and lay it on your neck . Repeat when needed .

Run the insides of your wrists under cold water. If your major veins are cold or warm, your body is cold/warm.

Get a bag of ice. Put it on your forehead for 30 minutes.

Chew on ice cubes. Its just like drinking water, only colder!

When you go outside repeatedly spray yourself with cold water from a spray bottle. It keeps you cool and feels good.

Every half a hour, you can take a cold wet napkin and put in on your head for about 5 min. or so. It relieves the heat going to your head - and feels good!

here I want to share a picture from last night before our drama pratice come to the end..

Just to share a simple shot inspirational story of friendship ;) ENJOY

Two girls were best of friends, since their childhood. When they were small kids, they used to go to school together, play together and sometimes even stay at each other's places. They were next door neighbors and thus their parents were friends as well. The best friends graduated from school and went to pursue higher studies in the same college. Everyone knew that the girls were the best of friends. Nothing was hidden between the duo, because both knew each other inside out.

After some days, one of the friends found the other behaving in a very strange manner. She would remain withdrawn, sleep too much and turn violent, very often. At first, the other friend thought it was just the studies getting on to her. However, with time, she became even more moody and frustrated. Finally, her friend couldn't take it any longer and confronted her with the problem. She broke down into tears and confessed that she was going around with a guy, who was taking drugs and forced her to take them too.

The girl was not only forced to take drugs, but was also forced to bring money every now and then and was threatened with dire consequences, if she revealed the matter to anyone, even her best friend. Shocked by her story, the other friend consoled her. She then thought of a way to help her. Finally, she thought that she would come up straight to the point and tell her to leave this guy and get out of all the mess. She contacted the college counselor, who was a psychologist and narrated all the problem to her. She offered to help and said that matter would be kept under wraps.

The girl was then advised by her friend to leave this guy, as he was torturing her unnecessarily. Her friend reminded her of her dreams of becoming a successful professional, inspired her to set an example for others and reminded of what her parents would feel, if they found out what their daughter was up to. After a lot of persuasion, the girl finally agreed to leave him. She was given basic counseling and was weaned off drugs, with time. All this while, her friend never left her side and always stood by her.

Finally, they graduated and the friendship only grew stronger. They both went on to become successful professionals, but never let each other down by indulging themselves into bad habits. They lived happily ever after, as close friends. The story leaves the reader to think about the depth of friendship shared by the two girls. The moral of the story is that true friends are those, who inspire you to become the best you can ever be. They have full confidence in you. They would not leave you until your goal is accomplished.

What are some things that you could never live without?   You might say food, water, shelter, or clothing.   Other, less conventional, answers might include a cell phone, lip gloss, or Starbuck's coffee.   However, according to psychologist Abraham H. Maslow, all people need belongingness, esteem, and self-actualization.   Carol Shields sustained that family values include qualities such as nurturing caring, and emotional support in her essay entitled Family Is One of the Few Certainties We Will Take with Us Far into the Future.   I agree with Shields that these family values are important because they provide sources of belongingness, esteem and self-actualization that are basic needs for life.

Friendship . One of the greatest gift of man kind . when we come to this earth we are already gifted blood relation . But the basis of this relationship is also based on friendship . Friendship takes a different shape to our heart . Only , lucky persons are said to have good friends . The bond of friendship is so wonderful .

Friends are the pearls of our life . This word bears its great meaning only to those who could understand the greatnest of its meaning . Its some thing holy, it needs to be cherished and build up for many years with much care . Goran Stojanov once said , “One should always take care when making a choice of a friend – as the friends are the ones you pick by yourself .” My opinion is a bit different than Goran's , I prefer to say , “Friends come and go , but with the precious few we shall live our lives happily.” I specially agree that friends come in to our life spontaneously .

Friends help you overcome challenges you may face at times in your life . A special thing about friendship is that friends have the ability to do this different ways like simply talking something through and giving advice or physically helping you .Not only do friends help you through situations , but they go about this through love . Friends are people in your life that love and care abou you . They will not only help you in those times of need . They care about you and how you feel and that is what makes them a true friends .

Friends are not only there to help you , but they also add fun , happiness and joy to ones in life . They add fun , hapiness and joy as you can relate to each other and share the same values about things . Through sharing the same values you are able to laugh and joke about things that you will both find funny as you share similar ideas . They can make you forget about any problems you have but simply having some fun . You know you can trust them as much as they can trust you .

You should know that a friendship does not grow over night , it takes time to develop . You just need to be supportive and be there for the other person when they need you . Everyone needs someone . Friends are releivers and they don't judge you . They see you as you and nothing more . Friends are people who you should hold onto for a long time . Just be sure you choose wisely who your friends are .
